Activities

CANOEING, KAYAKING & RAFTING

Regionally we are blessed. Floating around is easy with so much water around. If you prefer to move around without motorised power, you have come to the right place.

Every region of East Gippsland has a river, lake or ocean access. It is your choice where you go and what craft you decide to paddle. Guided kayak tours with everything provided are a great way to start and the Gippsland Lakes are a perfect location. Canoes are for exploring the rivers and estuaries, misty mornings in Mallacoota on the Top or Bottom Lakes or paddling to a breakfast spot via North Arm in Lakes Entrance.

Adrenalin kicks into overtime in the Snowy or Mitchell Rivers with white water rafting. The legendary Snowy River will reveal her power to you in these guided rafting experiences. National Parks and State Forests have information for all watercraft so check before you go.
