HORSERIDING
Tall in the saddle and high on life. East Gippsland on horseback is legendary. Follow the leader in a group or bring your own horse and tread the well worn tracks from mountain cattlemen. If you prefer to watch, then rodeos and campdrafts are held regularly.
There is so much natural environment in East Gippsland to explore, even your horse will be smiling. If you are used to the same old trails, then get ready for some excitement. Whether it be the high country or down by the coast in authorized areas you will be galloping to get back here once your ride has finished. Trail rides with a group are a great way to get an introduction to horse riding, so don’t just think about it – take the bit between your teeth and do it. Learn, yearn or live to ride, whatever your inclination we have the inspiration.
