WALKS & BUSHWALKING

Take it one step at a time. Put your best foot forward. Get a breath of fresh air and walk away your day to day city stresses. No need to go deep in the bush, as there are walks that cater to every level of fitness. Town walks, board walks or bushwalks help you tune into nature, but also tune into you.

Walking in East Gippsland is as easy as going outside your holiday accommodation door. There is always something to see within the village and town you are in. You meet friendly locals too. With so many National Parks and State Forests in our region, where to go is probably your toughest decision. Visit the Visitor Information Centre and pick up the East Gippsland Great Walks booklet which is free, or download it below. Twenty three walks of varying levels of fitness and experience have been outlined for you.

From long coastal treks to short leisurely river strolls, just remember to tell someone where you are going and enjoy the walk.
