WATER SPORTS
Make a splash in East Gippsland with more water than you have ever seen. Choose from lakes, rivers, estuaries and ocean, the list of water sports is as long as the wake from a fast boat. Keep your head above water, or below. It‘s up to you.
To list all the water sports available we would need another website, you just have to know it is all here. Water ski or learn how to. Kite skiing and kite surfing also very popular. Don’t forget your surfboard either with dream waves pumping from Red Bluff just out of Lakes Entrance, all the way to the NSW border. Jet ski enthusiasts have ocean, lake and some rivers to explore. Divers and snorkellers will find a heaven underwater, especially in the Marine National Parks around Cape Conran and Croajingolong. Competition sailing, rowing and swimming take place regularly on the lakes and rivers.
