You have an idea, an inspiration, a community project or event. Where to from here? East Gippsland Shire has made the process so much easier by providing resources and funding to assist with the process so you can start to plan and get everyone on board.

For residents with an art or heritage project or any kind of community event, the best place to start is the East Gippsland Shire. For arts and culture based projects we suggest you join the East Gippsland Arts & Heritage Alliance. This will make the path a little easier as we will know you and your group and can assist in providing information to you in a more cohesive manner. It is always great to have the right information. By contacting the Events, Arts and Cultural Development Unit for East Gippsland Shire you can access resource material that will help connect you or your community group with relevant details pertinent to your application. Shire Staff can also help with specific event information such as advice regarding permits and insurance requirements, or you can download the relevant information found under the Events section on this website.
