ACTIVITES IN THE CROAJINGOLONG REGION
Raw energy exudes from Croajingolong. Get back to nature with some of the most incredible bushwalks and hikes available in Australia. This World Biosphere Reserve offers every kind of natural activity you can think of.
Boating is a popular pastime, especially with great ramps and jetties available throughout the region. You can fish or just explore the many waterways from Bemm River and Sydenham Inlet to Thurra River, Wingan Inlet or Mallacoota’s Top and Bottom Lakes. You can get out to the Ocean by boat, but always check the conditions. There are walks that cover the whole of this vast, natural playground. Bushwalk to the beautiful Genoa Creek Falls, perhaps even encounter an Eastern Water Dragon; or hike the Nature Trail from Wingan Inlet. More experienced walkers can do the 150km stretch from Cape Conran through to the border of NSW and on to Eden.
If you love wildlife and nature, then you can’t go past Croajingolong. Whether you choose car, boat, canoe, sea kayak, mountain bike or foot, experience maximum enjoyment.
