MARLO
Marlo is located where the Snowy River meets the sea. Start the Cape Conran coastal touring route here. Follow the river and then the coastline for some breathtaking sights.
Marlo is more of a hamlet than village. Sleepy and quiet, it comes alive as fishing boats are launched into the fast flowing and majestic Snowy River. Picnic here and watch as pelicans perform for morsels of fish discarded from boats. The town hotel has historic origins and a magnificent location. The coast road leading from Marlo hugs the ocean. Rugged beaches, boardwalks and campgrounds are dotted along this road. Some parts of this region are Marine Coastal Park so check with Parks for these boundaries before you put bait on hook.
