Fish from a boat from Marlo or Cape Conran and you can look forward to hooking a big one. The Snowy River at Marlo has a boat ramp that is usually a hive of activity. Spin, lure or fly fish the river or ocean. It does not get any better than this.
Fishing in the coastal areas here is allowed but limited in some parts, as part of this coastline is a Marine National Park. This does not mean you cannot still enjoy this area but you must check local information before heading out. Fishing in the Snowy River and up in the higher reaches of Snowy River Country offer you the chance to bag the elusive brown or rainbow trout. Cool waters and pristine wilderness offer these beauties a delightful home. For information on tides and local navigation go to www.gippslandports.vic.gov.au/snowyport.htm
